Here is a simple walk through of the HDX remote to give you some idea what are those buttons uses and some hidden functions. Feel free to ask for more informaton in the fourm. 
====Section A==== Power Button Press Power - Standby A-100 (Video DAC shutdown) Press Power + Eject - Soft reboot A-100 Press Power + Delete\Clear - shutdown A-100 File Mode To be confirm - future enhancement to enable file copy function Setup Menu Screen - Access setup page directly Movie playback - Adjust Brightness, Contrast settings etc Suspend To be confirm Page Up Menu Screen - Page up the file list Movie playback - Volume Up Page Down Menu Screen - Page down the file list Movie playback - Volume Down Mute Mute Audio TV Mode TV Mode + 0 = Auto TV mode TV Mode + 1 = Component/Composite NTSC 480i TV Mode + 2 = Component/Composite PAL 576i TV Mode + 3 = reserved TV Mode + 4 = HDMI/Component 720p50 TV Mode + 5 = HDMI/Component 1080i50 TV Mode + 6 = HDMI/Component 1080p50 TV Mode + 7 = HDMI/Component 720p60 TV Mode + 8 = HDMI/Component 1080i60 TV Mode + 9 = HDMI/Component 1080p60 USB DVDROM Eject To eject external DVD Rom drive ====Section B==== Numerics Pads Menu Screen - You can select the corresponding number of the file list for quick jump - To enter alphanumberics Movie playback - For xvid/dvix, skip the percentage of movie playtime. For example, pressing 1 will skip 10% etc ====Section C==== Return Menu Screen - To return to previous menu Movie playback - NA Source Menu Screen - To display the source list that are available to A-100, for example NFS, SMB, External USB, Myihome source DVD Movie playback - Repeat Chapters/Title Info Menu Screen - Only works in Internal or External USB HDD/SMB/NFS source, displaying the filename\size Movie playback - Show timeline, video and audio codec information Home Menu Screen - Depending on the default source, it will bring you to the Movie, Music and Picture selection screen DVD Movie playback - Repeat A/B D Pad Up - Scroll up in menu screen and nagivation around the menu's Down - Scroll down in menu screen and nagivation around the menu's Left - partial timeseeking during movie playback Right - Nagivation around the menu's Enter - Executive command or playback ONLY the selected file ====Section D==== MENU Accessing the DVD menu screen during DVD playback PREV Previous track, during movie/music playback PLAY Play back the selected files or the entire files containing in the folder NEXT Next track, during movie/music playback Title To be Confirm REV Rewinding during movie playback When playing back DVD, after pressing ZOOM button you can resize the image STOP STOP playback FWD Fast-forwarding during movie playback, continue depressing will toggle 2x, 4x and 8x fast-forwarding When playing back DVD, after pressing ZOOM button you can resize the image 'Repeat Repeat the current selected movie or music (Not applicable during DVD playback) Angle TS with multiple PMT support, PMT switching with ANGLE key Pause Pause the current selected movie/music SLOW Step through frames of movie Timeseek Allow you to time seek the current selected media for quick jump AUDIO Depending on the media, if contain more than 1 soundtrack you can press the audio button to select accordingly. During DVD playback, you can toggle through the available soundtrack SUBTITLE Turn on a subtitle by pressing "subtitle" button on the remote control To select a different language after pressing "subtitle", use the "UP" key to scroll and toggle. Font Size - use left and right D-pad to adjust the size Color - Color selection of subtitle fonts Timing Offset - use left and right D-pad to change offset Lift - use left and right D-pad to change position from the bottom of screen ZOOM Toggle between, Actual Size, Fit Best or Full Screen During DVD playback, allow ZOOM function. Durning playback of dvd file, Zoom + FWD to zoom in, REV to zoom out, Stop to return to normal viewing Browser Mode - Zooms Browser Page Color Buttons
